Barambah Lures is taking a leap into the tournament scene in 2025. With more lure models to suit bream, bass, barra, golden perch and flathead anglers. New designs with new colours to cover more options. Barambah is focused on providing anglers with market leading products to target a wide range of species, in both saltwater and fresh.
Barambah is the Aboriginal name for ‘a place where water ripples’. Barambah Creek in the South Burnett region of Queensland, is where Matt grew up and developed his passion for fishing.
Background Experience - With over 30 years of tournament fishing experience and over 20 years of fishing tackle design and manufacturing experience, Matt has built a reputation for authentic lures with creative design that catch fish!
Tackle Design and Manufacturing - Matt started Nitro Jigheads in 2003, and built the brand for three years before selling it to Pure Fishing, and taking on design consultant role with Pure Fishing Australia for 12 years. Matt started timber lure-making in 2015 and went fulltime with Barambah in 2018. He has worked extensively jigheads, wire baits, blades, timber and urethane baits, and more recently with ABS, PVC and TPE plastics.
Drawing on this depth of fishing, design and manufacturing experience, BARAMBAH promises to deliver in 2025!
